Join in our September 2026 preaching series as we thinking about building a community for Christ together.
As noted on our logo, Romsey Methodist Church is building a community for Christ, and we do that with Christ. This means we believe that God has plans for us all to be part of building the community together.
God calls us, equips us and give us joy as we build together. We’ll be thinking about this more throughout September.
Week 1: Building our community prayer
We build a community first on our knees. Praying together doesn’t just happen on Sundays — it connects us throughout the week. This service will include time to reflect and discuss on how we can build our community prayer together.
Week 2: What we bring to the build
Su will be looking at what we can learn from Nehemiah, Andrew and Peter about recognising our gifting and how we can offer them to build up our church community.
Week 3: Here I am
This is Covenant Sunday where, once a year, we take time to specifically focus on our commitment to God and offering our gifts to serve. This service will be led by our Minister Andrew.
Week 4: Building to last
Jason will be helping us think about God’s call to be part of building his eternal Kingdom. Children will be joining in for the whole service.
