Small groups

Sharing life and faith

We believe that faith is best lived out with others and so encourage individuals to join a small group. Methodism has repeatedly affirmed the way in which small groups can enrich an individual’s faith.

We also have some small groups that you can connect to. We hope that reading through the descriptions below will help you choose a one to try out. Once you’ve chosen a group you'd like to try out, contact us (info@romseymethodist.church) and we’ll link you up with the group leader. 

Breakfast Talk

Where: the restaurant at Bradbeers

When: 4th Saturday in the month (9am for about an hour)

What: Join us for breakfast and guided conversation with Christian Friends. We will go into the upstairs restaurant for a breakfast of your choice, from just coffee to the full works!

The Upper Room

Where: Church

When: 6:30pm start and finishing by 8pm, Sunday evenings (check out the next date on the events page)

What: A group to enable us to explore the Bible, to question, to learn and to grow from each other’s experiences. We will endeavour to be a safe place to share, build friendships, to help and encourage each other and to be equipped by the Holy Spirit to go out and share the good news. The group is open to everyone, whether you come every time or just occasionally, it will be lovely to see you.
