Youth Time
Youth Time is a drop-off community group for young people in School Years 7-9 (ages 11-15).
The group provides a relaxed and welcoming space where young people can spend time with friends, enjoy games and activities, take part in discussions and challenges, and share refreshments together. Each half-term block will include different snack options, with young people invited to suggest and help choose what is provided. We will be starting with doughnuts and fruit.
Youth Time meets on Wednesdays from 6.00 -7.30 pm and runs in five-week blocks each half term.
A suggested donation of £3 per session helps cover the cost of refreshments, resources and activities. Donations can be made weekly or as a £15 contribution for the full five-week block. Donations may be made by cash or card, and no young person will be excluded if a donation is not possible.
All children and young people must be registered before attending. Registration helps us maintain appropriate staffing, safeguarding records and emergency contact information. Once registered, participants will not need to book a place each week. Registration links will be available soon as we complete the final set-up for the new group.
Registration is now live Youth Time/ Gear Up registration.
We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. If your child or young person has additional needs, or would benefit from support in order to attend, please contact us before registering. In some circumstances, arrangements may be made for a parent, carer or support adult to attend alongside them, following discussion with the group leaders.
We look forward to welcoming young people from across the community to Youth Time.
