Celebrating Easter

18th March 2021

With many restrictions still in place, this Easter will look a bit different. But we've still got plenty planned!

Easter Bags

This year we are preparing Easter Bags as a gift for children. The bags will contain a couple of simple crafts to do at home and an Easter gift. If you would like a bag, you must register by midday on 26th March and be available to pick up the bag from church in the morning on the 2nd April. To register, please email us with the age of each child you would like a bag for.

Palm Sunday

This will be an All-In service based around crafts and activities. This will make it particularly suitable for children and their families. It will still be streamed live on YouTube. A list of materials for some of the activities will be made available in advance for those who would like to join in from home. There will be a sermon for those who are watching from home on the theme "The Call of the Crowd". This will not be available in the church. You must book to attend.

Holy Week Online

A Daily Reflection will be published on YouTube to help us think about the Easter Account. The first one will be on Palm Sunday and run each day including Easter Sunday.
We'll also be sharing some Easter craft videos for you to watch and have a go at including flower arranging, Easter bread and chocolate truffles.

Good Friday

In the afternoon the church will be open for a Prayer Labyrinth. This will provide a beautiful space of calm to reflect on the events of Good Friday. You must book to attend.

Easter Sunday

Join us online or book to attend in the building for our Easter celebration. The service will be led by Rev Gareth Hill and is looking at the theme "The Call Beyond the Cross".
